Let's face it, folks, this forum can sometimes be a wee boring. I say this because, unlike some others (like the alterna), we can't share collecting experiences. Who here went out camping for a weekend & caught a Uro & posts the adventure Sunday night?? Most posts here are husbandry issues. And many are, over the long run, unbearably repetitive. That's not to say this forum doesn't serve a good purpose. It does, it's an educational format & we all benefit from it. I'm just saying, to keep things interesting, let's everybody keep sending in snapshots. Not just ones of the critters but also of the keepers.
OK, I'll shut up! Just a thought.

HEY! Look what I caught on my camping trip this weekend! It was a really cute uro, so I brought her home in the cooler. I'm keeping her with my 4 beardies and my chihuahua in a 10 gallon tank, but it's ok cuz I'll let her go when we go camping again next week.

OK, not really, but it is Shazzbot - a really ticked off Shazzbot because she was sleeping. OK, she's always ticked off, but this was extra.

You asked for it!

And yes, my hair is currently pink.

What a great picture! I had hair almost that color for a while, but usually stuck more with red, purple, blue, green... sometimes in stripes, lol. Now I am stuck in academia at a VERY conservative institution, and I am stuck with boring normal shades.

What a great pick me up to the forum! I do not currently have a picture of Mosca and I, but I will work on that.

Great videa. I love watching them eat. That you could vide tape while feeding is impressive. I would have probably dropped the camera

Loved the video! My Gene eats sunflower seeds from my hand and Keyser Soze (very, VERY occasionaly) eats apple from my hand. Both love their head, jowls and chin rubbed, too. Good to see there are more laid back critters like this!

Uromastyx are great lizards and deserve to be more popular pets and breeding projects. There is so much variation and great personalities it is a shame to see so little pictures compared to the other forums.

so here is our little guy patroling a paper mache volcano we made for a hawaiian themed party. unfortunatly he wasn't around for the eruption, but then again, it probably would have upset him.

Looks like I'm a little late getting to this thread, but I do have several pictures of Bruce at www.brucelizard.com. I always like to see pics of other uros as well. They are such photogenic animals, and given enough time can be trained using finger snaps to do some redimentary posing. Pretty cool.
