baby hatched last night...questions!

dragonlady1954 Aug 02, 2003 11:39 AM

I have been incubating at temps between 81.5 and 84 degrees for 72 days and I had 1 baby hatch last night. It is sooooo cute!! The other 23 eggs don't look dimpled or anything yet. They all look real white and real good but my question is, is it common to have one hatch in a clutch and then the others not to hatch for a few days?? How long is normal for an entire clutch to hatch. I have researched this so much but now that it's happening my mind has gone blank!! LOL

Yes, this has happened before to people. I would say that the rest are going to be hatching any day now. I've heard from one breeder he had one hatch out a week before the others. I also have heard peoples eggs have hatched after 77 days. So I would think the others will follow real soon.
