Just wondering if anyone knows anything about any of the following?
Yoshi as you probably know is gravid. She came to me a week ago with suspicious bulges in her belly, which can still be seen.
Since then her orange colours have gone, she shed her skin this week but no orange or red underneath. Does this mean her hormones have reduced and therefore is she likely to be re-absorbing her eggs?
She does look just as big as she did but I'm sure the egg bumps look smaller than they did.
She got out the viv this morning at feeding time and sprinted all over my apartment as fast as her legs would carry her. When I finally got her back in the viv she looked exhausted, eyes closed, her rib cage was in out in out like the clappers. Hopefully this was just her out of breath because of all that exercise?
I sat watching them for about half an hour before work and while Yoda stuffed his face she sat with one eye open watching crickets crawl around her but ate nothing.... She is still not digging.
Also I've never seen her go toilet until today, Yoda goes every morning like clockwork, but she doesn't seem to although she eats far more than him. This morning her's didnt have the white bit in it that Yoda's always has, but it was massive. Two or three times the size of his.
Sorry to ask questions about poo but I'm new to this......... LOL
And one more thing, If you notice eggs for the first time bulging from your lizard, how pregnant is she likely to be ie at least a week, at least 2 weeks etc?
