Southern Ringneck Hatchling:

Oxyrhopus Jul 12, 2006 08:52 AM

Beefy's eggs started to hatch yesterday only after about 30 or so days incubation. I placed in a hatchling brown snake and a dime for some comparison shots. I have seen smaller hatchling ringnecks and would consider this one a large baby Southern ringneck.

In hand and peeking from an egg. These eggs really doubled their size during incubation.

Congrats, awesome. I'm gonna have to dig up some old note books and see what the shortest incubation period of mine were. I remember a clutch of northern ringnecks a couple years ago hatching after a little over a month.
