I'm new to area. Anyone recommend a vet for tortoises?

You are lucky. Two of the best tortoise vets around are in the Phoenix area. Dr. Kevin Wright and Dr. Jay Johnson. The ARAV listing has their current contact information.

The address for Jay Johnson looks like his home address, not his clinic address.
