No Nose Be-siness

I live in upstate New York and the seasons are drastically different to say the least from Cali or Florida, where I find the majority of successful cham breeding facilities are. Question is, at what time of the year/season should the females panthers be introduced to each other? Male was introduced twice recently and she was most defiantly uninterested.

I live even further north than you do and my panthers breed several times a year as a rule.

Is her background color dark with bright peachy markings on her? If so, she may already be working on a batch of eggs that are too far along to be fertilized...or she just might not be in the right part of her cycle. I would just keep showing them to each other until she shows that she is ready.

How old is she? The male? Are they the same morph?

Thanks kinyonga for responding, yes she is showing breeding color (lite brown, pink to high oranges). Both are from Nose Be. Female was born in January '06 and is 7'SNL, male is unknown exactly but I would safely say November or December '05 and is 9'SNL. Is this still too young? Should a laying box be kept in her cage in the event of unfertile eggs? Also, if you don’t mind telling me your cycle of temps/seasons you have been successful at? Thanks again
