geckos filling up water bowl

wiresweets Jul 12, 2006 05:35 PM

I have two female leopard geckos who have recntly started digging in one corner of the vivaruim. Digging is proably the wrong word as they accually keep piling sand and filling up thier water bowl. i do not know why or how to make them stop, I am worried they will dehydrate while I am at work.

Please remove all the sand from the terrarium. It could cause impaction...
I know a few leos owners that regret the idea of putting sand in their terrarium. Sure it looks great, but the health risks doesnt worth it
