When do geckos develop the fat tail?

my gecko is a month or less old and I was wondering when should his tail start to become fat?

He should develop a nice fat tail pretty quickly (not as fat as an adult) if you feed him alot and gut load his insects. It shouldn't be that hard just give him his fill everyday and it's not like it's hard since it's fun to watch these little critters hunt.
