I feel like a dope.
I have spend sooo much money on heaters in the past (including a Kane's heat mat which was over $100).
...I just bought a used waterbed heater off eBay...it's HUGE (for a kingsize bed) has a built in thermostat and a probe (of course it's waterproof).
All for 12.99 including shipping, and i tested it, it works great.
I figured I'd buy one when it's 99 degrees out and save money.

Just FYI....prices are going up as we speak.

Don't feel bad. I've spent lots of money on different lights and heating supplies in the past until I found the right combination of things. I really wasted my money on those reptile basking spot lights. at $10 a piece, and would only last for about 2 months. Now it's only halogen lights, Powersun's, and ceramic heating elements for me! (well except for the dog heating pad I have for my savannah monitor, only for nighttime heating because of the way the cage is setup)
