Hey,
Super Pic of one neat young lady!!!! You know, all of you with family members that support your hobby/addiction/whatever (especially spouses!!!!) need to drop to your knees and thank God each day. It's a tough go when they don't!!!! Believe me!!! I know!!!!

I'm so jealous when someone posts a pic of a snake his wife got for him. All I get from mine is instructions to "get rid of the snakes". Good thing I wear the pants in this family (well, it sounded good anyway).
Nice pic - always good to have parents that DO NOT teach their kids to fear snakes (my mother simply forgot, until it was too late lol!!!) Now here WE are - HERPIN!!!
You have a very cute daughter. Congrats! Nice pic!

What a cutie! I'm always so thrilled when little kids love snakes and lizards. I had a yard sale a few weeks back and decided to take my adult corn Chester out for a little fun in the sun. A little girl came to the sale right after I brought Chester out and spied him in my hands.....she got a funny look on her face and I though "uh oh," but it instantly changed into a smile and she came over to pet him. She also dragged her mom over to see him. She couldn't have been more than four or five. Also, my friend is a nanny for a two year old, and when we both purchased pythons the baby was so excited....he said "hiiiissss" when he saw them and loved to gently feel their backs. Start 'em young is what I say!

Great pic Tom, and a beautiful young lady. My ten year old daughter is a good herping partner for me when we go camping/hiking.

Me and my wife have a little boy in the incubator right now. So next year I should have all kinda pics of my babies together. The bad part is that the baby is taking my reptile room away from me so everything needs moved around. Just think if my Corns were Balls I would be rich and could just by a new house. LOL
My kids also grew up with snakes in the house. Now they are 13 and 20 and don't give a care about them.Guess they just don't have interest.
I don't post very much in this area, but when I do, I post selectively. Your post is really meaningful because I think we often overlook, and sometimes even take for granted, the supports that some of us DO have (I, for one, am lucky to have both a supportive wife AND a 7 year-old daughter who not only helps me with feeding and husbandry, but treks with me every now and then in the Jersey Pine Barrens -- can't beat that...).
It's our duty to help our successive generations develop an awareness and appreciation for natural beauty, whether it has legs or not (LOL). Just my opinion, but am hoping others agree as well.....
It is great indead when everyone in the family shares the enthusiasm.
