Hi guys,
I have a 6 years old female which had babies before. Now, here is what happened: she bred from December 05, and normally she should have babies in July - August. A couple weeks ago I found guey mass smeared in three places in her cage. They didn't really have any volume or shape. They were very sticky and yellow, and semi transparent. She doesn't look pregnant - she never does, and everytime being convinced that she will not have babies she eventually gives birth to a nice litter.
My question is - is this a sign of her not having live babies this time and getting rid of the infertile slugs would be the final for her this season ? Or she just got rid of the slugs and there is still a chance of her delivering babies later. I assume these were slugs, although they didn't look like regular round shaped slugs. She has been refusing food and now she is in shed.
What do you think ? She never had slugs before. Do I still have a chance for having babies from her this year ?
Stan
