How many are in that cluster?
I saw 5 heads, but that looks like more than 5.

There's 7 in the photo and four that were still in their eggs. All but one had hatched out this morning (he was peeking out of the egg, not ready for the world yet). They seem a little longer and fatter than those I've hatched out previous years.

Very nice clutch of nigrita Tim. How are your Va. Eastern kings coming along? Did they breed for you this year?

I still can't get that dang female up to a reasonable size. She puts on weight, but not much length. I'll breed her next year for sure. She'll be 4 years old - although she's currently only around three feet long.

Love it, love it, love it!!!

Man do I ever envy you guys who breed these things!

I wouldn't get any sleep waiting for them to pip, hatch, etc.!

Congrats Tim, a fine batch. Gotta love those MBKs. What's on deck next over there? I have Gophers hatching and more Specks are probably next. Tom Stevens
