We were out for 3 nights, had my boy with me, hard to keep a 12year-old interested when your seeing nothing. Steve

September isn't too good in Val Verde county. The early part of the month can turn up a few alterna but they pretty much disappear by the end of the month. Latest I've found one was a neonate on 10/1.
I'd say the bend or the Davis Mts early Sept. would be your best bet.
Bon Chance.

I was wanting to make one more trip, trying to decide between Aug-Sept do you think Aug would be better, and what are your feelings on Iraan-Ft.Lancaster. I've hunted the major places from River road to 277 and did alright, but was thinking of moving away from the crowd also does'nt seem like there is a lot of animals from those locales. Thanks, Steve
