hey anyone out there have any ideas of what is good to use to line my cage? i bought a cage built from an entertainment center and the back panel is wood and looks horrible as a back and crickets crawl up the wood all the time. im tryin to find a liner with a sticky back to use but dont know what will be ok to use with the heat and humidity that the cage will endure. please help

Did you every find any vinyl? I think vinyl film would be a decent liner for most of the enclosure. Not sure if crickets can climb it.

It may not look all that great, but maybe try putting a strip of wide clear tape around where you don't want the crickets to climb past. I do that in a 10 tank for my crickets.

Can you post a picture of this entertainment center? I'd like to see it.
Thanks,
Rob

I have always liked furniture conversions. That looks like a great cage for bearded dragons.

I think the vinyl film will work and probably is the easiest product to apply to an already assembled cage. I highly doubt crickets will be able to climb it.

The lizards may scratch up the lower part of the film but it is very easy to laminate another layer on top.

The adhesive on vinyl film is solvent based but it seems to offgass pretty quickly.

ya i found this cage on ebay and scored a great deal on it. i paid i believe 170.00 or so for the cage, all lights and fixtures, cage furniture bowls, everything pictures, plus some more. the guy lived in maryland, a few hours from me, so i drove up and got it. its huge!!!!!!

anyways thanks for the tips on the vinyl. ive actually done some research with other BD breeders and found the DUCK products *the makers of DUCK TAPE* make shelf liner, adhesive and non-adhesive, that work very well and clean up very easily. its non-slip shelf liner.
