I'm a collared mama!
Since my chances of getting babies from you-know-who were pretty slim, I got lucky and found a beautiful local baby (or almost local). I went to pick her up today - she's got black dots, so I'm assuming female!
I've already taken about a million pictures - she's totally adorable!
She's about 10 weeks old and was the only survivor from her clutch. I know that means she might have developmental problems, so she's got a vet appointment Monday. She's been parked under the Mega Ray in her cage since she got here. She wouldn't eat right away, but I figured she's a little freaked out! While not exactly tame, she's already more personable than most of my other lizards, including my most tame uros - I can tell I'm going to like collareds!
No name yet, but I'll keep you posted.
