Finally my female albino has decided to start depositing her eggs. So far there are two and they look fertile from a quick glance. I'm going to try and leave her undisturbed for 48 hours.

Congrats, and good luck. I am curious, why wait 48 hours? I had a Hondo lay 14 eggs in 14 hours....a huge clutch. I almost always seperate the eggs from a cluster. I would guess that is impossible after waiting so long. Leaving the female alone is definitely the right thing to do, but I am wondering if you always wait so long to check when she is finished? You are absolutly right. When I checked on her this morning she was done and laid her first clutch of six. A couple are stuck together but that's O.K. they all "look" fertile. Man what a load off my shoulders, it has been like two weeks since her pre-lay shed. A couple days ago she felt very limber so I soaked her in warm water for an hour and soaked down her cage. She laid the clutch right over her heating pad. There incubating at a toasty eighty degrees;E....
Thanks,
Dave
Congrats Dave, should be exciting to see what you get from her. Hope your season is going well!
Nathan

Good luck to you too,
Thanks,
Dave
