I noticed, as two of my D. azureus stepped into adulthood, that they are starting actively to stroke each other. With my auratus, this would mean eggs in a few days. One strange thing though is that both of them are equally fond of one another.

In my auratus, the female does 99% of the stroking. With male doing barely anything (except for the fertilizing

With the azureus it's about 50/50 stroking action.

Do the females azureus predominantly stroke the male or it is an equally divided procedure.

Do you guys think that I have 2 females that are going at each other? The 3rd smaller azureus (I'm assuming the male) isn't much interested in stroking.

I'll hopefully know in a few days what's going on.
