Some pics

My fiance brought me this turtle early this spring.

Upon arrival there was some blood in the box but all the shell damage was old and already healed. I never did find out where all the blood came from. The shell, while having obvious signs of trauma is very stable with no movement.

Over all this little one is very active and quite a voracious eater. I always refer to it as my little HBC girl but the bottom of the shell doesn't show girl. The body coloring is not bright enough to be a male nor are the eyes red.

Just thought I'd share some self healed pictures.

Cool pics, thanks! Amazing how these "kids" can heal up! BTW, I've always wondered, how does one function with beautiful fingernails like that?!? lol!

Oh wow, thanks!

One functions with them because if they break they grow back. I don't pay to have fingernails put on. LOL

Seriously, family curse. All the women on the maternal side have nice strong nails. Growing them is easier than cutting them back.

Same here, maybe we're related? LOL
I hate cutting my nails I have to use heavy duty toenail clippers to get my thumbnails cut back. Then it's half an hour trying to smooth them out with an emory board, I'd rather just grow them than go through all that. :-x

OMG someone that can relate!

My friends laugh when they see me break out a dremel tool for filing my nails. LMAO

To think, some people have to spend a fortune for what we got naturally. Bet you have a beautiful head of hair to.
