Good for you, it's nice to see pictures. When it comes down to it - that's the point of this forum, isn't it? Raising, keeping and breeding captive monitors with positive results. I found this forum to be invaluble in my early days, though I didn't post much (OK, EVER) (for fear of being totally shot down) I certainly read absolutely everything I could, including the archives, and it has helped me learn more than any single-page, chain-pet-store-caresheet could.

He's sweet I agree with Tatbeesh, forums can be a very good place to learn stuff, especially when you find out the who's who of the forum, and who's had great success with these creatures. I don't tend to post much on many forums because of the same reason. I've found many net caresheets vastly differing with regard to monitors - some proclaiming 95-100 as a basking spot some up to 150. For a newbie (as I was a year ago and am still definitely learning now) such a vast difference is overwhelming.
