Our local pet store got a new snake this week that they think is "some sort of rat snake". I searched the internet and the best I could come up with is possibly an albino taeniura mocquardi. I thought I'd do my best to describe it and see what you think.

It's gold color, but much deeper at the head. There is a tiny purple band around the neck, and triangles of purple on the neck, only going about 1/4 of the way down the snake. Made me think of a jester. I think the body had a stripe down the rest of it. The shape was odd to me. The body of this snake is very triangular. It "slimed" me when I held it, but didn't try to bite.

All in all, it is an amazing looking snake, and when they decide how much they want for it, I could bring it home. If I do. I will post pics.
