i have a 6 ft female red tail boa.
when i bought her the guy was keeping her in a 30 inch rubbermade container. i feel this is not large enough.
could some one here please give me some advice on the correct size enclosure and what works best?

A 4x2x1 ft plastic cage would do fine for her.

I've got a red-tail boa that's about that size and I've got him in a 4x2x2 tank and it seems to work pretty well (I pretty much went with a cage as big as I could afford.) He was also kept in small cramped cage when he came to me, seems so much happier now that he can stretch out.
