I am planning on moving three jacksons chameleons into my back yard in south florida. I ws wondering if i should put them in 100% shade or allow like 25% in shade for each/.

I live in north carolina and a hot day in full shade killed one of mine. So I could only imagine Florida.

Were they out in the sun. I am planning on keeping mine in full shade or almost all shade. the temp is usually about 80-85 in the shade. I have heard that many people keep jacksons outside in this weather and they survive very nicely.

just as long as they have a cool spot within the cage somewhere to escape the heat they shold be fine. just watch out for those really hot days.

I have decided to just keep them all in my cove. they will be completely covered in shade. I think this will work.
