Egg question

jasonw Jul 15, 2006 01:45 PM

I was under the understanding that eggs are suppose to swell after absorbing humidity in the incubator. Is that true? My eggs still look good but they have not swelled like I assumed they would. I can still candle them and see the veins in there, each egg appears to have more veins every time I check and a little dark spot that they all come from witch I am assuming is a developing embryo. Thanks in advance

jason~ they swell if they are dimpled or sunken in and swell even larger when they are getting close to hatching time... as for my eggs, they never dimpled in and i did check them once a day at first, but after a while i got tired of looking at them. but they are still plump and healthy and growing bigger.....should get pippies between the 27th of this month and 12th of next month!!!
