Here's our yearling Cuban Rock Iguana, and (close to) yearling hybrid lewisi x caymanesis...

It may be a lewisii x cuban that is high in cuban because they look like the same species. Nice babies regardless.
The lewisi X came from Ryan Blakely @ Walter's World... I included a picture of the father of my baby.
After a lengthy conversation with Ryan - we're pretty certain it is a lewisi x caymanesis.
I'll post more pics of my baby tonight.

I almost bought a Hybrid from him a long time ago, but they aren't the most Lewisi looking of Hybrids.
The sire is a nice animal, but what I would consider a Blair looking Hybrid. In other words, lots of Cuban or other influence which shows in your Hybrid.
Nice animal regardless.
Good luck!

the pic? I cant see it and was very interested since several people are of the opinion that my hybrid the same mix. Since laying eggs she is really getting a lot of blue on her head, but unfortunatly they are not showing up well in pics.

Unsexed... yearling.
Yearling as well - looks to be a male.
The color in the Lewisi pic is a bit off... He was basking under a 75 watt lamp. His base color is a slate grey to light blue - depending on mood
As for differences between him and the pure cuban... The lewisi has a much smaller dewlap. The Cuban's base color is primarily brown. The lewisi has a less defined dorsal crest.
Other than that, they are very similar at this age, and I will just have to wait to see what they turn out like. But quite honestly, when they are this young, I don't think anyone can say definitively whether there is more c. n. lewisi, c. n. caymanesis, or c. n. nubila blood in the hybrid. It's about as rediculous as people telling you the "percentage" of lewisi blood in their cross.... I've seen some "98% pure lewisi" that looked just like every other cross I have ever seen.
