how thick around do bp's get when they are full grown. all that i have ever seen have been under two years old and pictures can only say so much.

I've got a couple that are about 15 years old. The male is as thick as my wrist which is about seven inches in circumfrence. And he just came off his winter fast last month .

I have thin wrists ....some of my balls are twice as thick and then some

as big as a soda can is good full grown size.....thick as a hardball even.....

some get bigger.........almost softball size......but not many.....

yet some males are done growing it seems at less than 2 inch diameter..........which is like ...........I can't think of anything.......small lemon.....billiard ball?.....hold three fingers together...(adult).......that's about 2 inches.....

All true, I guess it really comes down to the genetic make up of the individual snake. Actually I've got a new one that's "supposed" to be six years old and he's no thicker than a two finger span, and a little less than three feet long.

Yeah, I agree with the previous poster. I've seen some huge female balls (3200 grams), and I've seen some small male adults, but really that all depends on the snake. I have a '05 female already at 900 grams and an 03 male who is at 700 grams..they are both on the same feeding schedule (but the male goes off feed each year).

I have a late 05 who is barely 300 grams, while my early 05 is 825 grams!

Anyways, ball pythons are not huge snakes, and therefore you won't have any surprises on your hands when they hit adulthood!

This is my female ball, she is now 3 1/2 feet but this pic is a year old

And this is a newer pic of her at 3 1/2 feet being compared to a PS2 game, she is about as thick of a soda can right now, but she is still growing so we will see how big she gets, right now i am trying to get her up to breeding weight
