hi,
thank you, i will try this!

Don’t try to help them to soon. Give them more time and just offer them one f/t newborn pinkie every few days and see if they will feed on their own. If they don’t start feeding on their own after about 6 weeks then I would try helping them in the same way that evil Elvis told you about. Good luck.

hi,
ok, i will wait a few weeks and try, perhaps i won't have to help, that would be the best.
man, i'm so excited, they are my first lystrophis hatchlings and one of the first german ever.
regards,
alexander

Its your choice alex, but personally, i start them off this way, then, after 3-4 goes, they usually eat on thier own, i start them after the first shed, i personally dont like to wait too long, they are a hatchling that will lose weight very quickly and fade away if you are not careful.

Just fed 20 hatchlings from 3 clutches that hatched last week and 15 out of 20 ate f/t pinkies on their own or should I say (using my technique). I will try your technique in a few more weeks if the other 5 don’t start feeding on their own by then. Good luck.
