Nokturnel Tom Jul 16, 2006 10:26 AM

And it looks like the others still inside their eggs will be possible hets. I am very happy to see 2 more White Walls. This project really came together for me. Tom Stevens

For a close up. These look neat out of the egg, but after they shed they really look nice. Matter of fact the white just becomes more solid and bright as they age. They're almost translucent as babies. I love the possible hets too, very nice looking snakes. Tom Stevens

Nice snakes, Tom...I've gone to your website about everyday this week in envy of your whitewalls...I'm really considering getting into that project. Now, if only you could guarantee the Hets

I wish I could too, but all my offspring are 66% het, and the truth is 2 of my breeder females were also possible hets and they both proved out. The normal looking offspring are truly great looking snakes, but of course most hope to produce the white walls,,,,which is really an awesome looking animal

Wow! Why do they take so long to hatch? Ken

Nokturnel Tom Jul 17, 2006 08:49 AM

Hey Ken, I was gonna make up some story about the white sided trait having an effect on the duration of eggs delaying hatching time but instead I will just say that mine double clutched LOL. This was my last of the second clutches to hatch. My Specks were actually the first snakes to breed and lay eggs this year. That suited me fine as this was the group I was most excited to see babies from. Tom Stevens

Will they hatch in 2006 or do you think they will go a year like your 05 clutches? LOL. KK
