Perch Ideas for hatchling vision rack

BenTeam Jul 16, 2006 07:04 PM

Howdy campers, I am usually pretty creative when it comes to perches, but I just got one of vision's new hatchling racks, and I am puzzled.
The rack is great, but the tubs (which are possibly the coolest thing about the rach - they are 18 inches long- can you say gradient?) are completely smooth.
In other words, there is nothing for a typical fourway to "catch".

I have a few ideas, but I don't want to mention them and "poison" the creativity.

Thoughts?

I would use hotglue to attach strips of plastic to the sides. Form them into V's to hold the perches. Use just a little hot glue so you can remove them later.

Thanks Chris- I was thinking along those lines...

I will be using four way perches, so I was actually just thinking about making a "rail" at each end to rest the perch on.

I would have never thought of hot glue though...awesome.
