Do Greens Darken with time?

Rottenweiler9 Jul 16, 2006 07:55 PM

My male just went through his first shed and he is on the lighter side. I like him like that, he sometimes looks white off of lights.

By the way Kelly he is doing great and eating like a champ.

some will and some do not. Typically over the first few years they will lighten and green up and then as they age, many tend to get a little darker. However, I have seen a few that become greener over the first few years and then retain that nice green color even as they get older. Glad to hear he is doing well. Thanks,

Kelly

Kelly:
I too have noticed that my male is getting a little lighter nearing his third year. He was born from your litter on 11/18/03 and continues to eat very well after his 10 week hiatus.
Lookin' Good!
