front or rear fanged ?

would you call this front fanged or rear fanged?

The catagory "rear fanged" kinda lumps a tonne of very different animals just like the catagory "colubrid". Many of these snakes have fangs in the mid-region, and even, like Aetulla prasinus (spelling?) have front AND rear fangs.

Actually, it's almost hinge-fanged - in some xenodontines, such as Heterodon, Xenodon, Waglerophis ad others, the fangs are at the back of the maxilla, but the maxilla can swing forward to bring the fang into a very anterior position, as shown in the photo.

It dos illustrate the diversity of venom delivery systems among "colubrids", and the futility of pigeonholing them into "opisthoglyphous" and "aglyphous".
