Hi I have a question which is probably a very silly question but I am gonna ask it anyways. Ok My girlfriend owns a leopard gecko named Soleil. She is very friendly and doesn't mind being held. My question is, I was thinking of buying a Fat Tail gecko. Can I 1: house the two gecko's together if one is male and one is female, and 2:Is it possible to breed these two animals togther. I mainly deal with snakes and bearded dragons so all comments and suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

First let me say that I do not breed hybrids, nor do I house different species together. Ideally I do not house individuals together unless they are breeding.

That said, there are a few people who have had great luck in keeping these two species together. They have very similar requirements and as long as there is ample room there should not be a problem.

I have never heard of anyone getting these two species to hybridize. I think it would be cool to see the outcome but it may not even be possible.
