for her check up today. She seems to be doing just fine. She eats very well (I honestly don't know where she puts it all!), poops regularly, and is alert, though she doesn't run around much. She mostly just sits under her UVB lamp to veg.

Still thinking on the name thing, though it's narrowed down to just a few.

if i remember correctly the person you got her from has a female with crazy patterns on her back, not the normal collared get up. i was always amazed by hatchlings and babies on the large amount they eat. i seriously think for a while there they would stop in the middle of a feeding frenzy, take a poop and pile some more in, ha ha

Every time I would walk by her tank she would run to the front, and follow me untill I got too far away. She would always catch the crickets right when the hit the ground. I was also amazed at how much she could eat.

She's still not sure what to think of me - she sort of humps up like she's ready to run if I do something she doesn't like. She's murder on crickets, though! BAM!!

Vet says she looks perfectly healthy and is cute to boot! Like I didn't know that one. She's a whole 8 grams. What does an average adult female collared weigh?

I'm going with Rorschach as her name. Can't pass up the opportunity. She can be Rory for short.

I think her mom weighed 35 grams last time I weighed her, which was last year before hibernation.
