future breeder MBK

rjward97 Jul 17, 2006 02:42 PM

Picked up this girl this last weekend from Rick and Becky of Renegade Reptiles. She is gorgeous! Thanks again guys! My youngest daughter already claimed her as her 'own'. She just had to put her in her shoebox after we got her home... lol. Here is a couple shots of her and a blurry pic of her future mate, Sulphur. I am hoping for baby MBKs in 2010

those should breed before 2010. I have a two year old mbk that is 700 grams. she was over 300 at one year old, but i decided to wait.

Thanks kirkpatrick, I may try earlier. Just have to wait and see how quickly she grows. He is already 2yrs.. but quite small for his age. Bought as a yearling last year and was as big as she is now... he is now @3' though and pounding rat pups like you would not believe!

Ay, I noticed on your list over on "the batcave" (do we still call it that?) that you had 1.1 MBKs. I was wondering when did the new female come in? Man, me an' my buddy must've walked right by you guys. We got there @ 2pm. Congrats on the new MBK.

Congrats. Renegade has some particularly nice ones. They are one of my favorite snakes and you get the immeadiate satisfaction of a pure black snake unlike with gaigeae which take a while (although my all time favorite)In my experience, I really enjoy their laid back "captivity is not all that bad" attitude.Good luck.
