Jon, killer animals.. You have been getting some real nice stuff this year.

I dont think they are the same. Talking to you, the belly patten is different, clear on one and patterned on the other.

The Old one has purple and a different pattern to it also. They are similar animals but different for sure.

Am I the only one that sees "fire" traits in the "jester"? The pattern and color and similar, but maybe a paradox or?? double visual thing going on..

either way, cant wait to see the babies from them.

Good work on establishing wild caught animals, not always easy!!

thats an ugly snake........granted you could clean it up with selective breeding but that thing looks sick!

Not mouthing off either.....this one is ugly too.....but you could make it nice.......this is one of mine....

beau Jul 17, 2006 07:29 PM

ha, your claim to fame gary, claim to fame..

Everyone has different views on if something is good looking or ugly. A lot of people like these, some dont as with all morphs, then some dont like any morph.

Cleaned up with selective breeding huh? Ha, ok..

But who am I to talk, I dont know much about reptiles, I had a ball python once, but I dont keep them anymore. Maybe one day I can breed them, or maybe some corn snakes or bearded dragons, very cool..

I love the color.......that crossed with a spider to clean it up! Well worth the investment...........

Same with the one i posted.......ugly snake, great color!

Thats what this is all about..........

I remember that now. Its hard to keep up with real life and all this stuff too! haha

Good luck with that one.......that faded head is nice to see.

414reptiles Jul 18, 2006 01:37 PM

yeah i know what you mean...how are things going with yours? any breeding done? I have mine switching to rat fuzzies rather than mice now hopefully she'll put weight on shes only 300-400 grams at the moment....killer eater but slow grower .... my rat eaters seem to grow faster so switching her is a start. I have a few other snakes with inconsistant color but nothing close to her. time will tell. I have a number of hand picks hopefully ill strike gold with something

I am not sure if I think they are really ugly, or really cool! I think they look better from a distance. The first comparison pic was nice, and yes, you are correct, similar, but are they the same thing??? Odd snake...

gabonica2977 Jul 17, 2006 07:34 PM

if you dont breed one of them to a yellowbelly youre crazy...

albinosunlimited Jul 17, 2006 07:40 PM
