Switching food

I have a burm that I'm trying to switch from prekilled mice to FT rats. I've tried to feed a mouse 1st then feed a rat but he refused to take it. Then today I feed him 2 mice then took the boxes they where in and tried to get the sent an the rat. He showed a little intrest then he backed down. If anyone has anymores tips for me, I would appreciate it.

It might be that you're trying too much at once. You may have better results if you try PK'd rats first then try the switch to F/T'd.
