Lucky me!

Rick sniffed out a superb group of ornates & two of them are headed our way. You all know how I like pictures so you'll be sure to seeing them soon!
Losing Peach this weekend was kinda traumatic. Getting these guys doesn't nullify the loss but, it definitely gets our minds onto a new project.

Good for you!Although you lost her I'm pretty sure you have some of her babies still with you so in a sense a part of her is still with you which is a big plus!

I know I told you that around next April I'll be looking for an ornate male and it seems like you have some contacts of where to get beautiful ornates so if you don't have some to sell personally maybe you could point me in the right direction to buy a beautiful male ornate I would give you a finders fee of course.I'm trying to cover my bases before then to get a beautifully colored male ornate.

Cograts and look forward to those pics!

April is a long ways off. I may or may not have Ornates for sale at that time. My advice is to stick with proven breeders. While I can't break the rules & recommend any one breeder, I'd HIGHLY suggest one who's name starts with an "L".

I hear ya.I live about 1/2 an hour's drive from there and if I could go and pick it out and bring it home that would be great as I really want to pick this one out myself. But I'll have to see if that would be ok with that person!

E-mail this "L" person & set something up. He's a super people.

Yeah, I will.I was thinking of emailing him in a few months since it's so far off yet.But I'll definitely do that so he can keep an eye out for one and I may even be able to buy it around Jan.-Feb..I was going to email him anyway especially since he's so close that would mean I could pick the one out myself and I would save around $50.00 or so cause it wouldn't be shipped which helps out.I'd spend that extra on a mega-ray for the ornate.Which will be the only UVB bulbs I'll ever buy from now on!!

I am incredibly happy that they went to experienced and caring people. It was one of my concerns when I made the decision to part with them. Hope they are doing well, I will drop you an email tonight when I get home.

Very sorry to hear about Peach though; any thoughts as to why it may have happened that could benifit us all in the future?

I can only speculate, Rick. But, I suspect that what constitutes an otherwise completely healthy lizard doesn't go nearly far enough for a gravid mama. Maybe we can get some input here from Lindsay, Doug & other breeders who've also dealt with this not so uncommon occurance.
Got your e-mail. Get my picts?
