head still in egg...help?

jpman78 Jul 17, 2006 11:08 PM

I have a clutch with 1 out of the egg and 7 of the 8 remaining sticking their heads out of the eggs. ONE has not stuck his head out yet (cut all eggs after the first one pipped). Should I be concerned? Or just let nature take it's course? The egg sack still appears to be around the hatchling. I'm very anxious to see what this guys head will look like.

Thanks for the help.

everybodies always cutting. youd think this was a rocky movie and rocky was asking mick to cut him so he could go another round. babies come out when they are ready . why rush it. everbody cuts then asks "oh did i screw up?" i can see if its an egg that is still closed after everyone else hatched, but why cut early. i hatched my first clutch this year the last egg hatched a week after first. i fugured it just wasnt ready. its only sixty days if you can wait 55 why jump the gun. im a neurotic owner but i figure if they are healthy they will come out when they want then you dont have to worry about cutting anytghing or wondering why there heads are not out yet. just my opinion though.
