I want to build a new enclosure for a corn snake. Does anybody have any ideas? I'm thinking of building the enclosure out of wood and some sort of transparent material in the front. And also, i don't want to spend alot of money.

Very hard to beat a basic melamine cage with plastic glass track and plate glass bypass doors.
There are a fair amount of plans on the web. Some utilize commonly found melamine shelves so very little cutting is needed. The melamine coating on the precut shelves is pretty decent in quality.
What tools do you have access to and do you have experience using them?
