Tricolor eggs on day 75 incubated at 80 - 82 degrees. They are starting to sweat and darken from the bottom up. Does this mean they are about to hatch, or that something is wrong? This will be my first hatched clutch ever so I am a bit nervous.

Thanks

They normally deflate significantly a week before hatching.

Here are the eggs at day 73 and 75. They are not getting smaller, but have started to sweat and turn opaque. What do you think?

They are fine. I have some that look the same way right now at day 76. Yours will hatch within a day or two, and then you can show us all your cool little tri-hogs you were so worried about. Good luck.

So how many days do the sweat before they start to hatch?

I don’t notice mine sweating much or at all. I keep mine fairly dry though. So I would say about 2 to 4 days maybe! Just be patient and they will come out when they are ready. Good luck.
