Hello all,
I have two quick and simple questions about the natural history of the veiled chameleon that hopefully someone here can answer:
1. I understand that this species is mostly endemic to the southwestern corner of the Arabian peninsula (Yemen, southern Saudi Arabia), but have any specimens been known to occur on the other side of the red sea in North Africa? (ie: Somaliland, tip of Ethiopia) They are so close that I imagine it would be easy for many to make it there.
2. How long does a healthy veiled typically live in captivity?
Thank you for your help.
