Lazy Russian

stanleytl04 Jul 19, 2006 03:42 PM

My Russian has been hiding for about 3weeks now. The only time he comes out is when I soak him. I have monitored the temps all is ok there. I have rearranged his enclosure to spice things up. I was wondering if adding a female or two in with him would be a good idea.

still having your problem?

i doubt a female would help him, my male has 4 other females in his container with him. (Don't chastise me, my new pen i build them floods! I'm working on the problem now)

i still believe that he is not going to start acting normal until you put him outside. if you cant let him roam around your kitchen floor or something, i still think he is board out of his mind. take him for a walk in you back yard when its not too hot. (Too hot is roughly 90 degrees or above)try it and reply on how it goes.
