this might sound a little dumb but, how many clutches does a female lay each season??? i've read 2-4, i've read 5-6, i was told 1, and i'm not sure. n/p

i have a sunburst and it was her first time laying and she laid all fertile eggs but never laid another clutch. she is fat and healthy but since it was her first time i think thats why there was only 1.
