first hog

I just got this hog today from ES Tropicals. I have a couple bloods but this is my first hognose. He's fairly mean right now, a lot of striking and hissing, but I wasn't really expecting him to be happy after being in a small box for the past 24 hrs. He hasn't discouraged me though, he's adorable and I'm very happy with him. Since I haven't heard of that many mean hogs I'm pretty hopeful that he'll calm down in the next few weeks, I put him in a quiet corner so he can sleep on it for a couple days. Now I just have to find him a girlfriend...
