I tamed mine when it was about 9 so I dont see why not. Plus its CB so it shouldnt be a problem with regular handling. Just like with all geckos, avoid grabbing the tail even IF he is trying to run cause he might drop it. They dont like to be constricted so as soon as hes not trying to bolt into the oposite direction just let him sit on your hand and be comfortable with you. I found that that works best.
