So, I go into clean my water bowls tonight, only to find the rat I tried feeding my boa was still in there from Sunday. So needless to say the wife was not happy when I opened up the rack and the smell came out. So I am staying up late with all the windows open on this hot night to air it out. I even checked the cage to make sure she ate it and I thought she did. I guess thats why you should spot check daily. Hahahha

...its possible that your snake ate the rat...then later regurged for some reason...that smell was half digested rat and it is defeintly the worst smell ever lol!...you should watch your boa closely for the next few feeding periods to make sure she isnt sick...if she is take her to a vet.

She has not eaten in the last two weeks, however I have been trying to take her out more. She has not eaten since she bit me. Weird. I think she likes to be left alone, when I dont mess with her she eats now all of a sudden she bite me and does not want to eat. She may be stressed.
