boa regurg

metalpest Jul 20, 2006 01:29 AM

My male Honduran boa regurgitated his meal today. I was feeding him 2 mice per week for a while and decieded to switch him to weaned rats. He last ate 11 days ago. The bulge from the rat was not all that big. He is near 3' and plump. I've heard bad things about regurges and I want to make sure he stays healthy after this, any help is appreciated.

That should not have been too big of a meal, I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure it was a regurge?? After 11 days it should have been a stool. I would wait atleast two weeks to feed, then go with one mouse, stick to one mouse every 10 days for a month or so, then bump back up. Craig Kade

What I meant was he ate a mouse 11 days ago and then I fed him the rat and less than 30 mins later the rat was regurged.
