Always In Burrow

The baby ackie I got a couple weeks ago still doesnt come out like I see in pictures; in fact I havent seen him in 3 full days. I know he comes out for a couple minutes though because the crickets are always missing and there is always new poops in the tank. I believe he eats around 2-4 crickets per day. He cant possibly eat more because he never basks, so I dont even understand how he digests what he is eating now. He MIGHT bask for a total of 2 minutes throughout a whole day. His poops are usually on the tile under the light. What is going on here folks... Is this all normal?! The thing is his tank is completely covered in paper, and I am rarely ever in my bedroom except for at night to sleep. I hope he gets over this soon... Once again, I have had him since the 8th.

When I am in my room, for example when I’m on the computer, I peak in over the top every 10 minutes or so, and I have never seen him. The times I find the poops are when I wake up in the morning(sometimes afternoon LOL!). He doesnt have 24/7 heating but close to it. I usually turn it off around 3am and then back on around 9am. I guess basically I should stop worrying as long as I am finding that crickets are dissapearing and poops are appearing. I just wish I could watch my little guy go throughout his day like I see so many people doing with theirs...
