So my female crested laid eggs (2 clutches so far) and i was a bit suprised, as she has been without any male company for about 7 months now. I assumes they were dude, knowing that it is possible for captive reptiles to lay infertile eggs on occassion, but then learned from my biology professor at UMiami, that it is possible for geckos to retain sperm for months, even years before laying eggs!
Regardless, i was not expecting eggs, so I am not sure if they are fertile or not, and doubt they are as healthy as they should be as they were not laid in an oprimal egg-laying environment and substrate.
can anyone help me out, firstly, by helping me find out if the eggs are even fertile or duds, and if they are fertile, how to best get them to a healthy status?
Much Respect,
Pete
