C.similis ID by tail whorls?

roger van couwen Jul 20, 2006 04:57 PM

Hello,

I know some of you really know your Ctenosauri. Can someone tell me how to interperet the tail whorls on a C. similis so I can distinguish a young one from it's close cousins?

Roger

Two sets of scales between whorls for C. Similis.
Three sets of scales between Whorls for C. Pectinata.

I'll e-mail you a drawing.
