temps?

mlove Jul 20, 2006 05:36 PM

Hi, I'm hoping to be adding a chuckwalla to my family soon. What day and night time temps are required to keep them happy and healthy? Thanks!

I've heard surface temps from 100 - 130 quoted as being good highs. I have a high surface temp of around 120 at the basking site for mine. The cool end is usually in the 80's. It can get cold in the desert at night so once the lights go off it's fine to let the temps drop to that of the room.

Thanks! I want to make sure I have everything ready before bringing a chuck home.
